A departmental Industrial Advisory Board has been constituted in Civil Engineering Department that acts as a bridge between industry and the academic Civil Engineering Program. This Industrial Advisory Board will further enhance the role of industry in overall quality enhancement of the QCET, Sahiwal. Its role is broader as compared to the departmental Board of Studies that has at least one industry representative but is limited to curriculum review only. The board includes three prominent experts from the relevant industry and senior faculty members. Furthermore, IAB provides a platform to have an elaborate and effective mechanism for formal industrial feedback towards attainment of PEOs rather than focusing most of outcomes through alumni feedback. For the sake of defined purpose and professional development, several meetings have been arranged by IAB in QCET, Sahiwal. The functions of IAB are explained below;
• To analyze feedback from alumni & employer regarding attainment of PEOs and provided by the placement office.
• To give recommendations on revision of PEOs to Placement office.
